Marriage Counseling | Christian Counseling Ministry Inc. - Enid, OK

Marriage can be a blessing for those who have found the joys of learning how to connect with a lifetime soul-mate. Marriage is a commitment between two people who love each other. Often times, the marriage is the foundation to having a strong family. We are happy to supply couples counseling to those couples or individuals who feel they need support in resolving any troubles they believe they have in the marriage and in the loving relationship.

Sometimes, couples face the same stresses and anxieties, whether it is related to work and finances, family troubles, or communication. It may be that one partner is facing turmoil and difficulty in life and cannot effectively handle situations in which they may need to speak openly and honestly with his or her partner.

It is our goal to offer a calm, peaceful, and safe place for you and your partner to discuss your lives and thoughts without reservation. At Christian Counseling Ministry, we provide a way to examine and learn about each other while working to resolve any issues in communication and relieving any worries about events in life that are out of the control of the couple.

Our anxieties and fears lead to miscommunication, and we often lose sight of what really matters: love, understanding, and purpose. Often times, couples will feel like they just “share the same space,” or "same address," and are “going through the motions.” Sometimes, they bring their anger and stress home and take it out on each other.

What we do is listen and discuss solutions to finding the ways that you as a couple can reconcile with each other and rediscover the meanings and intentions of your mutual affection and life together. Only through open and honest discussion about your feelings can we find ways to improve communication.

It is our main interest to help you resolve your conflicts because miscommunication, strife, and stress should not cancel the love that two people share.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NIV) "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. but how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
